This is the Docker Bikes voluntary manufacturer warranty against defects for original retail purchasers of Docker electric bicycles. It sits beside — and does not replace — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Introduction
A voluntary warranty, plus the law
Docker Bikes (DOCKER BIKES PTY LTD) offers this voluntary manufacturer warranty on original Docker electric bicycles sold to retail customers in Australia. It is a warranty against defects: a promise about what we will do if a covered manufacturing defect appears within the stated period.
Voluntary warranty coverage starts on the date the bicycle is delivered to the original retail purchaser.
We may ask for proof of purchase or other reasonable evidence when assessing a claim. Registering in My Docker is not required for Australian Consumer Law rights.
Benefits under this document are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law. Those statutory rights cannot be excluded, and they are not limited to 12 or 24 months.

What's covered
Manufacturing defects
If a listed component has a manufacturing defect that appears within the relevant period, we will assess the claim fairly. Where this voluntary warranty applies, we will repair or replace the covered component, or otherwise remedy the defect as appropriate.
For bicycles sold by an authorised Docker Bikes dealer, that selling dealer handles agreed labour for approved warranty work. Docker Bikes supplies covered replacement parts for approved claims. If you bought directly from Docker Bikes, contact us at info@dockerbikes.com.au.
What's not covered
Wear, accidents, and related damage
Normal wear is not covered by this voluntary manufacturer warranty. Manufacturing defects may still be assessed even on a part that also wears with use.

This voluntary warranty also does not cover damage caused by:
- · Accidents or collisions
- · Misuse or abuse
- · Improper maintenance
- · Incorrect assembly that causes the damage claimed
- · Unauthorised electrical modifications that cause or contribute to the failure
- · Water immersion beyond the product’s specifications
- · Normal wear and tear
A modification does not automatically void the entire warranty. If a modification causes or contributes to a failure, that related damage may fall outside this voluntary warranty. Unrelated manufacturing defects can still be assessed. Third-party accessories follow the applicable product and manufacturer warranty. Australian Consumer Law rights still apply.
Battery
Battery warranty information
The battery is covered for 24 months from delivery to the original retail purchaser for manufacturing defects in the battery pack as supplied.
Gradual loss of capacity from ordinary charging and riding is treated as wear, not as a manufacturing defect. A manufacturing defect in the battery that appears within the 24-month period may still be covered under this voluntary warranty.
Docker+
Docker+ and this warranty
Using Docker+ does not affect your Docker Bikes manufacturer’s warranty.
Enabling or using Docker+ does not void this warranty, reduce its duration, exclude components from coverage, or change the claim procedure.
General exclusions (for example accidental damage, misuse, or unrelated modifications) still apply, and remain subject to the Australian Consumer Law. Those exclusions are not Docker+-specific.
How to request support
Current support process
Submitting a request does not confirm a repair or replacement. Docker Bikes assesses every request. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unchanged.
If you bought from an authorised Docker Bikes dealer, start with that selling dealer. Dealers use Docker Bikes’ existing warranty support workflow.
If you bought directly from Docker Bikes, email info@dockerbikes.com.au. Include your order details, a description of the issue, and photos where useful. Docker Bikes will coordinate the appropriate remedy.
You may also use our contact form.
We will not impose customer freight or labour charges where a free remedy is required by law. Where the Australian Consumer Law requires a free repair, replacement, or refund, you will not be asked to pay for that remedy.
Australian Consumer Law
Your statutory rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This voluntary warranty is additional to those guarantees. Consumer rights are not limited to the stated 12 or 24 months. Remedies may include repair, replacement, or refund where the law requires it. Statutory rights cannot be excluded. We assess warranty claims fairly.
